PWA & Mobile App Setup

Install Orin as a standalone Progressive Web App on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, and Windows with native haptic pulses.

Installing on iPhone & iPad (iOS Safari)

Orin is optimized for iOS standalone PWA mode, featuring edge-to-edge dark theme rendering and safe-area inset adaptation.

  • Open 'orin.lstr.uk' in Safari.
  • Tap the Icon Share icon in the Safari navigation bar.
  • Scroll down and tap 'Add to Home Screen'.
  • Confirm the name 'Orin', ensure 'Open as Web App' is on and tap 'Add'. Launch Orin from your home screen for full standalone experience.

Installing on Android, Mac & Windows (Chrome / Edge)

On Chrome or Edge, click the Install App icon in the URL bar (or tap the three-dots menu -> 'Install app' on Android) to install Orin directly to your application dock or home screen.

Tactile Haptics & Badges

When installed as a PWA, Orin utilizes the Vibration API and App Badging API to provide subtle haptic clicks when buttons are pressed and pulse streams during generation (where applicable.)
